comparision between smartphones

 READ COMPARISON B/W PHONES PART-1

Operating System :

HTC Butterfly:[9/10]

Like all predecessors of HTC  it runs on Android platform with the version 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with Sense 4+ UI. Several added functions of the customised user interface add a lot to the user experience of the phone. The Android operating system makes the Phone’s software flexible and allows users to make a lot of tweaks also it gives them access to one-touch widgets on the notifications bar and home screen. The problem is that it has certain security related issues and inefficient usage of resources.

Sony Xperia Z:[8/10]

Xperia Z can be said to be having OS working wit he similar analogy to HTC butterfly as it also runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and has a similar user interface when used alongside Butterfly. The only differences we notice are the software tweaks that do set them apart . The users also get 'small apps' here, which include small versions of Calculator, Notes, Voice Recorder and Timer that do not take up the whole screen space and can be re-sized as well as moved around the screen. As excepted even this phone has security issues .

BlackBerry Z10:[7/10]

BlackBerry Z10 introduces a brand new operating system that focuses on multitasking, with low power consumption reducing the stress on battery. The animations will look pleasing to the normal users but will not seem too flashy for business  users. Another great feature is Blackberry Hub that will satisfy the users who do not want to switch between various apps to check their emails, SMSs, tweets and IMs. It also promises a high level of security. The only catch is that it lacks Google services which will be a very big disappointment to some users.

Nokia Lumia 920:[8/10]

Windows Phone 8 is here and Nokia lumia 920 has caught it first with Metro interface, which is based on Tiles rather than icons. By scrolling down, The home screen as well as the app menu can be accessed instead of swiping sideways as is the case with Android and iOS. It also introduces multitasking the only thing it lacks is a good notification system. You may miss some important notification is you don’t keep a constant eye on the phone.

Samsung Galaxy S4:[10/10]

It works on the latest Android system 4.1.2 jellybeans which has some of the very advance features like swipe keyboard gestures,360 sphere photos, faster functioning etc .with the innovative features specially designed by Samsung Its Os becomes uncomarable.

Apps  Inbuilt & Availability :

HTC Butterfly:[10/10]

HTC Butterfly runs on Android platform so  the full Google Play is at its disposal , It means that users can access to as many as 7,00,000 apps . And besides it some popular apps which run on other OS are also available . Its inbuilt apps includes personalisation options, a neat gallery and in-built movie editor and task manager.

Sony Xperia Z:[10/10]

Xperia Z being a Sony phone it is hereditary to feature Walkman music player apps that can access lyrics and other information about songs from the internet.  And it is also powered by Android 4.1, it also has full access to all Google .Another  notable feature is small apps, which provide easy access to some key apps and allows users to resize them and relocate them around.

BlackBerry Z10:[6/10]

Due to its new OS the blackberry market place was launched recently which resulted in most of the popular apps of android changing their structure a little bit to run on BB OS . This results in the lack of some internal functions or features of the app. Also it is quite small and has around 75,000 apps.  Some of the noteworthy apps are missing like Whatsapp, Instagram ,and viber.

Nokia Lumia 920:[7/10]

Nokia Lumia 920 runs on Windows Phone 8, which builds upon the app portfolio of the mobile OS' previous version , Windows Phone 7 (approximately 1,50,000 apps) apps, like Facebook, Angry Birds, Wikipedia and Whatsappand other popular apps are available. With the Microsoft OS we get Microsoft Office suite for mobile devices which is much more efficient than all other similar apps .Some prominent missing apps are Instagram, Google suite etc. Nokia Here location and mapping service in Lumia 920 replaces Google Maps and is fairly up to the mark.

Samsung Galaxy S4 :[10/10]

Running on Android platform it has the same access to Google play .But due to its Innovative Apps Samsung has an extra edge over the other android run phones as this apps specially designed by Samsung only run on Samsung galaxy S4 and no other Phone.
