Samsung Galaxy S4 , Nokia Lumia 920, Sony Xperia Z, BB Z10, HTC Butterfly are oficially tested and compared .Due to recent unfortunate event that can ever happen to a mortal which was macabre of my cell phone Nokia N900 . Worse still it couldn’t be repaired and I was left with no choice but to throw it in the dustbin . Then came the tougher part choosing another cell-phone and it was really tough to decide which phone to select because when i bought my nokia N900 Android was an infant starting to grow . iOS was too costly and was tamper proof ,So it was very easy to pick the phone which ran on LINUX based meamo OS (which wasn’t a great success) but I was headstrong into buying it .
The problem now looking at the current scenario of the
mobile market is that it has emerged at an explosive rate and also there is a
cut-throat competition with the cut-throat technology .After searching for long
hours on the net and the local dealers I have selected and evaluated the best
cell-phones in the market which included most of the major companies but I had
to boycott Apple its iOS just doesn’t work with me. Excluding
it, the list of the cell phones who made it is displayed above and the detailed
analytical analysis follows let’s see who wins the battle of the best
cell-phone in the current technological era.
The details of the above cell-phones which went under a
series of test and observation is given below their respective tests.
Display Resolution and Screen size :
HTC butterfly: [9/10]
It is equipped with the 5 inch super led III with 1920x1080p
resolution and 441ppi pixel density. The
good thing about its display is that it is vivid and crisp and can be viewed
from almost any angle. It makes up for the colour-fading under the sunlight.
Sony Xperia Z:[8/10]
It has the same size as its main rival HTC butterfly but here
the screen composes of 5 inch TFT , 1920x1080p resolution with 441ppi pixel
density . The only thing it lacks is the contrast levels which results in the
difficult visibility in sunlight.
BlackBerry Z10:[7/10]
It literally outshines its counterparts when it comes to
visibility under the sun. For the other levels it falls behind the rest of phone
with 1280x768p resolution 355p pixel density and 4.2inch touch screen. It also
shows a sluggish performance when it comes to playing HD videos.
Nokia Lumia 920:[9/10]
This phone boasts a 4.5 inch IPS panel with Puremotion HD+
with ClearBlack display . With 1280x768p resolution ,332ppi pixel density it is
amazingly clear and vivid when viewed under the sunlight but it lacks HD which
results in the lowering of its quality for watching videos.
Samsung Galaxy S4:[9/10]
Samsung Galaxy S4 sports a 5 inch , Super AMOLED capacitive
touch screen with 16 million colours. It has 1080x1920 pixels,441ppi pixel
display .It also features Cornering Gorilla glass 3. The best thing about screen is
that it is bright even in the sunlight and has wider viewing angle.
Body material and Looks :
HTC butterfly :[9/10]
As the name suggests it is light weight and beautiful just
like a butterfly .It is mad by using plastic with rubber coating which makes it
easy to handle and grasp. Another good thing about its body is that all the
ports are closed with flaps except the headphones which is very convenient and
also the whole body is water resistant at low pressure. Although a bit wide but it is certainly a step
ahead of its rivals.
Sony Xperia Z:[9/10]
Sony Xperia Z is definitely a strong and sturdy device that is
resistant to water as well as dust and also includes features like scratch resistant glass on the back.
Similar to HTC butterfly all slots are covered with flaps which makes the device looks pretty and sophisticated. But
the best part is its compact body design despite bearing the 5-inch screen, it
is quite easy to hold and operate with one hand.
BlackBerry Z10:[8/10]
BlackBerry Z10 can be said to be twin of iPhone 5 from a distance but the obvious
difference can be found out when we take a closer look. The device carries the
signature look of BB which is business type but it lacks elegance and durability that
rivals boast of. Due to its comparatively small screen it is easy to hold and
perfectly fits into the palm.
Nokia Lumia 920:[9/10]
Nokia Lumia is composed of polycarbonate and looks quite strong
and attractive. It comes in a wide variety of colours that will attract the colour
conscious . Although all the keys are easy to access the area in which it falls
back it is its weight ( 188gram), Lumia 920 is one of the bulkiest smartphones out there.
Samsung Galaxy S4:[9/10]
As compared to its predecessor Samsung Glaxy S4 comes in two colours Frosty White and Minty
Black with a back cover which is divided into many segments in such a way that
whin the phone is viewed from an angle some of the squares reflect light giving
it a beautiful look. It is made up of the regular plastic body which was in
Samsung galaxy S3.
