Meditation:Explore new Dimension of Life

In day to day life we face many problems and while facing these problems actually we forget our self.
We become so workaholic that we cannot even spare time to our family also. In this marathon race sometimes we even don’t know what we are chasing of. And finally all these stuff leads to some kind of mental problem like insomnia, anxiety and other mental ailment. Sometimes we think about quitting also. If we apart our self with these problems than we may feel relief, peace in our brain.
Meditation can show us a path to meet our self. It isolates our self and world. Some researchers have found that meditation can solve most of mental problems or ailments. It also increases Gray matter in our brain. Grey matter is one kind of neural tissue which is found in spinal cord and brain. It does not require much stuff, but only one thing is required and that is you. By meditation we can experience theta state also. You might have question that what is theta state, so I would like to tell you about some brain state. Do you ever wonder that what is happening in our brain while we are asleep or why do we feel tired, relaxed or energetic? So the reason behind all these states is our brain, which produces these different frequencies. These brain waves have been grouped together according to their frequencies. There are mainly four state of our brain.
i) Beta state (13 to 40 cycles per sec)
ii) Alpha state (8 to 13 cycles per sec)
iii) Theta state (4 to 7 cycles per sec)
iv) Delta state (1/2 to 4 cycles per sec)

            i.            BETA(13-40 Hz):
When we are consciously alert at that moment our brain in beta state. We might feel afraid, agitated and tense in this state.

         ii.            ALPHA(8-13 Hz):
We feel mentally and physically relax in this state, though we aware about surround activity. Light meditation through we can reach in this state. At this state our muscles of body are at ease.
                                  iii.           Theta(4-7 Hz):
Somnolence state is associated with theta. We are     less conscious to surround activity. It is also associated with dreams and creativity.
                                  iv.           Delta(1/2-4 Hz):
Unconscious, deep sleep is associated with delta state. This is the lowest state human brain can reach. Sometimes we have dreamless deep sleep, at that our brain in delta state. Brain takes rest at this state.
So now as you are aware with your brain state, can we reach to theta or delta state by meditation? You will be surprised but answer is YES. Now I am going to show you how to a perfect meditation.

      1) Find an empty space at your home or anywhere. Make sure you will not be disturbed. If you have anything to do, first do it then start meditation.
      2) Sit on carpet or other comfortable material. Cross your leg and straight your spine. Put your hands on leg.

      3) Meditation is all on breathing. Follow below three steps for breathing.
    i) Inhale deeply.
    ii) Hold it.
    iii) Exhale.
Take a long deep breath and try to keep it for a while and then exhale. For proper meditation its ratio should be 1:4:2. That means if you inhale for 2 sec then store it for 8 sec and exhale it in 4 sec. When you start to meditate, forget about all things that related to your body and surrounding environment. Just allow yourself to enjoy this time.

As you continue to meditate, you will explore new dimension of life. You can control your emotions and become very delightful person.
