Etiquette means polite
behavior in front of members of particular society or group. It teaches us how
to behave in front of number of peoples of any society. There are too many types
of etiquettes but in this article I will tell you about dinning etiquettes in restaurant.
1: Restaurant reservation
Making
restaurant reservation is part of dining etiquettes. It is like a business appointment. If you make reservation and you are going
late more than 20 minutes then call to the restaurant and change your
reservation time so other people can use that table for dinner or launch.
2: How to use napkins in restaurant
When you
take your seat, take napkin from dining table unfold it and put it on your lap.
Never use this napkin for clean your nose or face. If you want to go somewhere during
dinner then just fold napkin loosely and put it on left side or right side of
your plate. When you complete your dinner put semi-folded napkin besides your
place.
3: when we can start eating
You can
start eating when everything is served on your plate. If anything remaining to
serve wait for it.
Any
dinner plate which is placed at left side is yours and any glass which is
placed at right side is yours. Soup spoon, tea spoon and dinner knife is placed
at right side of your plate. Salad fork, dinner fork and dessert fork is placed
at right side of your plate.
5: Eatting
Do not talk with any one when food is in your
mouth. This thing is very rude to watch. So make sure that when you are talking
to someone food is not in your mouth.
6: pass the food
Use the
word please when you are requesting someone for pass something. After taking
that thing say thanks to him or her.
7: Share the bill with your colleague
If you
came in group for dinner then try to share bill of restaurant among all of you.
If you wish to make your separate bill then tell this thing to waiter before
dinner or launch.
So
friends these are the dining etiquettes in restaurant. If you like this post
then don’t forget to share it with your friends. Have a nice day.
