How to set ip address to your PC(Windows 8)

There are two types of ip (Logical address) that you can set in your PC,

1) ipv4 (version 4)

2) ipv6 (version 6)

Here is one way to set your ipv4 to your PC

1) Move your cursor or mouse arrow to  something look like below image,

   right click on that image . ( Please turn on wifi )

2) Now you must see one window like this,

   click on "change adapter settings"

3) After click on that another window will open just like this,

   now you can set ip address to your PC,but there are two types of adapter

   i) LAN ( Local Area Network )

   ii) WIFI

   Both can be set by same way,i will show you how to set ip to wifi

4) Right click on "Wi-Fi" icon and select "properties",you must find this window

 now go into the "Internet Protocol Version 4 ( TCP / IPv4 ),

5) Finally you will find one window in which you can set ip address of your PC.

For set ip address to your LAN repeat same step 4 and 5 except right click on "Local Area Connection" icon and set ip.
